For those who are already DAR members, information on how to do supplemental application will be provided. Bring your family genealogy for one-on-one help! Cost: free Bring your brown bag lunch. Contacts: Sandy Fry or Jayne Cates November 7, 2009 Where: Barrington, Illinois When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. What: Joanne Farrell will be leading the program "Tracing our Pennsylvania Dutch and Scots-Irish Ancestors" with stories of Pennsylvania Dutch Ancestors who settled in southeastern Pennsylvania in 1730s. We invite you to share settlement stories with the group. One on one workshop by Illinois State DAR Membership Task Force. Cost: Free Lunch - We are featuring a "Colonial Banquet" with foods similar to what our ancestors served during the colonial period, including "Seven Sweets and Sours" from the Pennsylvania Dutch.
