The National Society of the Children of the American Revolution,
founded in 1895, is the oldest patriotic organization for youths in our
country. Membership is open to anyone who is lineally
descended from a patriot who provided aid in the War for
Independence. The age range is birth to twenty-two.
Meetings and activities are planned for all ages with special
consideration given to younger members.
Members gain invaluable leadership experience in conducting meetings,
following parliamentary procedures and standard protocol, serving as
delegates and speaking before groups at local, state, and national
conferences. The responsibility and privilege of selecting
officers helps members gain an understanding of the democratic process.

"We
shall pass this way on Earth but once, if there is any kindness we can
show, or good act we can do, let us do it now, for we will never pass
this way again."
