On June 21, 2008, Springfield Chapter placed a NSDAR Marker on the gravesite of Susannah Graham Fleming at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois. Susannah was born June 21, 1786, in Pickaway County, Ohio, and died December 9, 1866. Susannah was born to Jared and Jane (Jenny) Graham Sr. Her father was a Private in the 8th Class under Captain James Irvins,  Cumberland County, Pennsylvania Militia, during the American Revolution. Susannah was married to Ferguson Fleming and lived in Ohio before moving to Sangamon County, Illinois. She is buried in Block 14 of Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, Illinois.
