Princeton-Illinois Chapter, NSDAR

Princeton, Illinois

Welcome

The DAR gives members an opportunity for service in many areas. It is a way to join with others in trying to make America a better place to live. DAR offers an opportunity to meet people with similar interests, develop friendships, and to join others who cherish the priceless heritage enjoyed by all while promoting the ideals of patriotism and love of country.

Our chapter is one of over 100 Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR or NSDAR) chapters in the state of Illinois. We serve Bureau, Stark, and Putnam Counties.

This website provides information about our chapter’s history and our patriot ancestors, as well as links to information about DAR membership requirements. Links are also provided to both our National Society and State Organization websites.

We hope you will enjoy your visit to our website. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about DAR and our chapter.

Why should I become a DAR member?

Through DAR membership you will be joining over 175,000 women across the United States (and beyond) in friendship and service.

Membership is open to any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution.
